I recently added an extra positioning camera and a monitor for laser control to my Longer B1 40W, and I have to say – it was a fantastic decision. The camera makes positioning projects on the work area so much easier and more accurate, while the live view helps avoid mistakes and wasted material. The monitor also makes operating the laser much more convenient – everything is right at hand, without needing to connect an additional computer. Huge thanks to the service team, who not only recommended these upgrades but also helped with purchasing, setup, and calibration of the camera. They also gave great advice to install a filter for the laser head, which completely solved the issue with soot and smoke passing through the head. Additionally, they suggested 3D-printing a stable camera stand mount – now the camera holds its position perfectly, doesn’t shake with any movement, and stays steady at all times. Special thanks to Ryan, who is very active, responds quickly, and is always ready to help. His knowledge and dedication made the entire process smooth and problem-free. Top-notch professionalism, excellent advice, and outstanding technical support. I’m extremely satisfied with the results and can highly recommend both the equipment and the service team!
Kamera do grawerki laserowej Longer to świetne narzędzie, które znacznie ułatwia pozycjonowanie detali. Jej największą zaletą jest możliwość zdjęcia elementu z maszyny i ponownego ułożenia go na stole – nawet w innym miejscu niż pierwotnie. Did what I needed. Once altitude was calculated, I was all calibrated in Lightburn in moments. Thanks guys.
Over all a nice setup. Troubleshooting tips should be included, exm: if calibration not going well, first look at all lighting around you. Expand detail on height settings.. Cameras lens should be should be horizontal to the working surface. These are just a few things I ran across. Website documentation is not the same as documentation with unit. Website manual says 8mp, delivered manual shows 5mp. Online manual needs to be updated to latest version of Lightburn if your going to continue it.
Great addition to my B1 30w! However there is no easy way to use it with the Longer Enclosure. I had to improvise by using a piece of 2020 aluminum extrusion, braced between the top crossbars an mount the camera to it. It’s a quick fix since I have to use the enclosure you run my machine since I live in an apartment.

Put it on the top of B1 enclosure works fine, just need to turn a bit the camera its self to make it straight with the laser. Very helpful purchase.
I could not get it to work with the larger extension kit.

Easy to use
A very good camera, everything is as described. Express delivery. I recommend this purchase to every user. It greatly simplifies and speeds up work and play with the laser. This makes positioning details and preparing them for printing or cutting very simple. This purchase was recommended to me by Servis Longer, for which I am very grateful.
It did take time to set up. The instructions were outdated compared to the newest version of Lightburn, but other than that, I don’t have any complaints.
With the big B1 40w laser module it's not always easy to line things up. So the camera is handy. Because I made an enclosure around my B1, and I have the exctensionkit installed, the height was not enough to get the full size of the view. That's totally my mistake. I hooked the camera with a screw in the lid, in the middle of the honeycomb. For the full view you need like 55cm height, I got only 40cm, so the view is smaller but still workable. I will change my enclosure when it bothers me. The setup was simple and well instructed on paper that came with it. Like all my items I got from Longer, the come wel packed, with good instructions, and the items are high quality, also this camera. Very pleased with all my Longer materials. Woodhobbygn.be

Bardzo przydatny dodatek do rozbudowania maszyny. Kamera eliminuje kłopotliwe przygotowania do grawerowania drobnych elementów, brak konieczności tworzenia zbędnych szablonów do grawerowania breloków, długopisów itp. Szczerze polecam.

Un peu difficile de paramétrer la caméra sinon elle fonctionne très bien et je l'utilise maintenant tout le temps, bravo longer pour vos produits. J'ai le graveur Ray 5 10w et maintenant la caméra et tout fonctionne parfaitement. Bientôt je vous achèterai une imprimante 3d ,je pense prendre la kl5 pro.
